Is There Anything I Cannot Bring to Sessions?
I
am very sensitive to chemicals and would like to keep an environmental
friendly atmosphere for all….therefore: I cannot allow turpentine or
brand “Turpenoid” , spray varnishes or other harsh smelling chemicals.
Did you know?…you do not need to paint with turpentine when using oil
paints? Infact: It muddy’s the paint! Try without it and you will be
amazed:)
Can We Bring Food and Drinks?
Yes,
please bring your food and drinks, but keep in mind strong smells. We
will at times have Pot Luck and other food/drink events too. I will
notify ahead when these fun, shared events occur. I do have access to a
refrigerator and microwave.
What Kind of Art/Paint supplies do I need to Bring?
Painting
is very individual in taste and preference. I will provide a
recommended list to “Private Instruction Students” upon registration and
any others requesting some direction in their supplies. All Artists are
responsible for their own art materials. I will supply water, coffee,
paper towels, bathrooms, occasional snacks, refrigerator, microwave and
background music. Recommended general things to bring: Paint brushes,
paints, paint mediums, pencil, canvas, paper, apron, rags, photo
references, plastic bags to take home dirty brushes, lunch, snack, drink
a pizza box or other to carry home wet art.
Can I Bring a Friend or Child?
If
you would like to show a friend/family member you may do so, on a
limited time basis. Please keep your visits to 10 minutes! We want to
keep this space vacant of outside disturbances.
A creative mind works out-loud on the brush, not the mouth.-Nicole Slater
