SATURDAY, NOV. 1, 2014 DIA DE LOS MUERTOS/DAY OF THE DEAD CELEBRATION AND ANNUAL DINNER
TIME OF EVENT
2:00PM --Face painting for Day of the Dead/Dia De Los Muertos, in front of Modesto Centre Plaza
4:00pm --Sugar Skull painting & designing in front of Modesto Centre Plaza
4:00pm --Car show in front of Brenden Theatre
4:00pm --Viewing of the Alters/Altares/Ofrendas in the lobby of the Modesto Centre Plaza
4:00pm --Viewing of decorated tables with theme of 'VIVA LOS MUERTOS/LONG LIVE THE DEAD
6:00pm --Procession from St. Stanislaus Catholic Church parking lot on K Street to the Modesto Centre Plaza. There will be a hearse in the procession, decorated coffin with the theme and 6 pallbearers, motorcycles; Aztec dancers; several folkloric groups and many community members.
6:20pm --Aztec dancers will entertain the public in front of the Modesto Centre Plaza
7:00pm --Awards Banquet, dinner, live entertainment and dance
