Hosting a birthday party at Nicole Slater Fine Art Studio was an absolute joy. The back drop of her studio was open and inviting, no extra decorations needed. Her studio is a work of art in itself. Nicole Weir Slater, is a wonderful hostess who paid great attention to detail to make our friend's surprise birthday party so special. From the lovely beverage set up to providing high quality art supplies to spending individual time to help us create our very own masterpiece. Nicole Slater's studio is a little gem in downtown Modesto , where a party becomes an a tiny retreat away to spend quality time with the ones you love. Thank you so much Nicole for providing such a beautiful space in Modesto for us to celebrate and create art!

Reverse painted glass ornament workshop....9 fun fantastic ladies!

 We had a Birthday girl in the house...no candles....NO PROBLEM! Use a paintbrush and you are good to GO!!!!

We had a wonderful time discovering new ideas, textures and setting out to find our limits:)

 Art is so fun because you play until you drop...and that is exactly what we did.
 We painted a "sampler plate" which was so fun. The idea was to test colors, patterns, textures and layers all over on the reverse side of a plate and then....create our ornaments.

We discovered the sampler plates ROCKED!.....each one one so fun and unique....

When you just play in paint, without a plan.... sometimes... the best things B E C O M E.

 I took away from this a full heart, an excited group of gals ready to learn and create and some fabulous works of art!

This is your opportunity to choose your own medium and join us among other fellow artists and paintin an artist’s loft. Nicole will be along side the group for support and to assist in any needed direction.
*This is for individuals that are skilled in the basics of art.
$60 per 6 hour session (cash/check) $64 per 6 hour session (credit card)

*Both sessions are held at Slater’s Home Furnishings at 1605 J street Modesto
